#MakingMemories... Happy Anniversary, Bb! Love you Always and Forever, GM2
We met at Rio Ranch for lunch in December 1996. -He was about to become my boss and was there to meet his new staff.
We worked together from 1997 - 2009.
Fast forward from Rio Ranch to 2005; life happens, circumstances change, and a new love is born.
In 2008, we bought the ranch and branded it Rockin M2.
For a decade, he would ask from time to time if I was going to marry him. My response was always something like ya, yes, uh-huh. We enjoyed talking about our future, made investments in our future, planned to grow old together and shared all that life had to offer.
We laughed, we loved, we mourned, we cried. We celebrated children's high school and college graduations, marriages and were even blessed with our first grandchild. (We now have four and a few more with four legs.)
Then one day (February 14, 2015), we were sitting on the pier at sunset and the age old question came up again. My response was, "ya." This time he responded by saying, "No, I'm asking; Will you marry me?"
We had a party at the ranch a few weeks later where he surprised me with "the ring" in front our [Cajun Fest] party guests.
On October 10, 2015, we were married at the Bell Tower on 34th Street with about 70 of our closest friends and family there to witness my dream come true. I married my best friend!
Bb, I love you. You make me so happy. I love waking up to you by my side every morning. I love holding hands and praying with you in the evening. And, I love making memories.
Always and Forever, you're stuck with me!
Happy Anniversary,
GM2
The Rockin M2 Ranch just celebrated it's 10th birthday and always have a project or two underway. (Of course, have ya met my husband?!)
The current undertaking is the addition of the Wood Duck Wines vineyard. Check back often to see how the installation of the vineyard infrastructure is progressing in preparation for Spring 2019 planting season. We're also busy building the vineyard website. (www.woodduckwines.com is coming soon.)
Next Spring, we'll be planting Black Spanish and Blanc DuBois vines. Act fast, we only have a few slots available on the groundbreaking vineyard crew!...
And finally, we're very excited to be hosting Thanksgiving again this year. It's a great time for the family to come together and give thanks for our many blessings, one of which is making memories at the Rockin M2 Ranch.
